In addition to the front brake pads, it is also necessary to change the back of cars on VAZ vehicles. At the rear of the model (2105, 2106, 2107, 2108, 2109, 21099, 2110, 2111, 2112, 2113, 2114 and 2115, etc.), drum brakes are used to reverse the rear brake pads with their hands. The procedure for all LADA cars is almost identical.

The replacement of rear brake pads on VAZ vehicles is as follows:

1. Lift the car, remove the rear wheel.

2. Unwind 2 guides pins.

3. To return 2 M8 bolts to screw holes to remove the brake drum.

4. Remove the upper and lower springs, and then the guide spring through the centre of the front.

5. The front brake shoe may then be removed.

6. Disassemble the slats (bar).

7. Remove the guide spring for the centre of the rear end of the pad.

8. Remove the tailstock and the striker's retainer.

9. Plants out of the back-plate of the fixing splint (thin wire) and remove the supporting puck.

10. Press the finger, remove the drive lever, remove the finger.

11. Install new brake pads and gather all in reverse order.

12. Before putting on the brake drum, the pad shall be compressed by two monthsets.

The rear brake pads on the VAZ, like the front, change on both sides at the same time. Otherwise there may be problems with braking: the machine will be unevenly distributed.
