Intelligent Light System (W204) is a system of adaptive outdoor lighting that adapts to road and weather conditions. The adaptive light function is switched on and off through the vehicle computer. The system has the following features:
- The bend lighting function shall be rotated according to the movement of the rudder.
- Additional bend lighting is a function to improve the review when passing the cool turns. It is included when: (a) speed of less than 40 km/h and rotation of the rudder; (b) speed of 40 to 70 km/h and turning the rudder.
- The function of the traffic on the road-stretes the light cone for more lighting. It works at a speed of over 110 km/h.
- Enhanced fog light. It is good to cover the edges of the carriageway and not dazzling oncoming drivers. The function is activated at a speed lower than 70 km/h and the rear fog lamp is turned on.
