The RAV4 tyre pressure alarm system consists of the following components:
-The fan of the tire with the sensor. It measures the pressure in the bus and passes its value to the control unit.
-Two antennas (located in the left front and right rear of the car). It's picking up a signal from the wheel sensors.
-System control unit. Parses the resulting data and compares them to normal values. If the pressure is outside the prescribed limits, the unit shall be used to activate the signal lamp on the instrument panel.
-Signal-detector. When activated, notifies the driver of the reduction of tyre pressure.
