If the Skoda Yeti engine fails to start because of the failed ACB, the other car may be used to start the engine.

This will require a non-ADA launch. The nominal voltage of the two BBs shall be 12 V. The capacity of the charged battery shall be identical to the capacity of the charged ACB. Positive-red cable.

The launch cables must be connected in strict sequence, starting with positive poles.

  • Pin the end to the plus output of the discharged ACB.
  • Pin the second end of the cable to the positive pole of the launcher.
  • Then connect the negative pole with the engine cylinder block: lock one end of the cable at the negative pole of the launcher.
  • Connect the second end of the cable to one of the massive metal parts of the car that is hard on the cylinder block, or directly with the cylinder block itself.
  • Then start a donor car engine and leave it at idling speed.
  • Then start the car engine with a discharged ACB.
  • If the engine doesn't start, you can turn off the starter in 10 seconds and try again in half a minute.
  • Detach the launch wires strictly in reverse sequence.

In cars with "Start-stop" system, the cable from the other motor vehicle is forbidden to connect directly to the Mina pole of its own ACB, but only to the point of connection of the engine mass.
