If the fuel level indicator on Toyota Avensis 2 is not working correctly, check the fuel level sensor. To do this: Disconnect the connector from the fuel level sensor that is located in the petrol tank. This includes the fuel-level ignition switch on the EMPTY.Contact 2 and 3 connectors on the side of the jumper (first and second on the right in the large part of the connector).Including the ignition-arrow shall show FULL.Meria between contacts 2 and 3 only already on the side of the sensor under different positions of the melting. The resistance shall be changed smoothly from 4 Ohm (full tank) to 110 Om (empty tank).

  1. Disconnect the connector from the fuel level sensor in the petrol tank.
  2. Ignition of the fuel level must be on the EMPTY pointer.
  3. Contact 2 and 3 connectors on the jumper side (first and second on the right in the large part of the connector).
  4. Including the ignition switch, the arrow must show FULL.
  5. Merlin resistance between contacts 2 and 3 only already on the side of the sensor under different positions of the melting. The resistance shall be changed smoothly from 4 Ohm (full tank) to 110 Om (empty tank).
