If the fuel level indicator on Toyota Avensis 2 is not working correctly, check the fuel level sensor. To do this: Disconnect the connector from the fuel level sensor that is located in the petrol tank. This includes the fuel-level ignition switch on the EMPTY.Contact 2 and 3 connectors on the side of the jumper (first and second on the right in the large part of the connector).Including the ignition-arrow shall show FULL.Meria between contacts 2 and 3 only already on the side of the sensor under different positions of the melting. The resistance shall be changed smoothly from 4 Ohm (full tank) to 110 Om (empty tank).
- Disconnect the connector from the fuel level sensor in the petrol tank.
- Ignition of the fuel level must be on the EMPTY pointer.
- Contact 2 and 3 connectors on the jumper side (first and second on the right in the large part of the connector).
- Including the ignition switch, the arrow must show FULL.
- Merlin resistance between contacts 2 and 3 only already on the side of the sensor under different positions of the melting. The resistance shall be changed smoothly from 4 Ohm (full tank) to 110 Om (empty tank).
