Where do the stains come from under the car?

Before writing to the service, it is worth trying to determine the cause of the leak. It is possible that this is all condensation.

Different systems in the car operate at the expense of different liquids-brake, cooling, and motor and transmission oil. And the stains under the car may be any of them. The reason for this or other fluid is a set ranging from the non-watertight receptacle to the body of the brake system.

How do I determine the cause of the staining?

The most accurate way to determine which fluid has driven out of the car is to pay attention to the stain itself, its color, consistency and the smell. If the stain is composed of transparent and fluid fluid, it is the water from the air conditioner; the evaporating almost transparent liquid with the characteristic smell is the fuel; the brown and fluid fluid with the distinctive smell is a sign of leakage from the brake system; non-radiant and non-evaporating liquid, from transparent to brown, is antifreeze; and the oil has draught consistency and light color, if it is new, and darker-if the old one.

The second phase is the definition of the cause of the staining. If it is possible to establish that the liquid liquid is, for example, antifreeze, then the problem should be found in the radiator. The cause of the antifreeze leak may be the leakproofness of the cooling system tubes and the leakage of the crankcase or other damage to the radiator.

If the stain has all the signs of a cleaning fluid, then the leak problem of the glass washer. This failure is not difficult to fix by removing the tank from the hole or replacing it with a new one.

If the stain on the vehicle is a fuel leak, the leak may be caused by a leak in hoses or pipes or punctures in the petrol tank. It is recommended that such a problem be addressed to professionals who are eliminating the "cold welding" method.

If the spot has oil signs, then there may be several reasons for not tightness of the sausage of the shaft, the semi-retractor of the rear axle of the car or the secondary shaft of the ACPR. You can try to eliminate the leak on your own, and fill the oil with a special additive (additive) that will delay the leak. However, this method may not work-more than that, among motorists the opinion is that additives cause irreparable damage to the powertrain, and, even if they give an instant effect, only briefly delay the inevitable trip to the car service.

Another reason for the appearance of oil spots under the car is the thaw through the gasket of the engine, the gearbox or the back bridge. To fix this, tighten the mounting bolts and nuts. Other means of sealing the old gasket or replacing it with a new one.

One of the most dangerous leaks is a brake fluid that can cause loss of car control and lead to an accident. In the event of this malfunction, the vehicle should be immediately delivered to the service using the tow truck.

Thus, the formation of stains under the bottom of the car during parking may be caused by serious malfunction and should not be neglected. In the first instance, the owner of the vehicle should determine the type and smell of the stains of the type of liquid that has been fluid, and, on the basis of the information received, examine the place of the vehicle from which the liquid is presumed to flow from.
