The DAC system on the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 is designed to prevent excessive dispersal on steep slopes. It is operated at a speed less than 25 km/h and when the full L4 drive is activated. The system is turned on and off by using the DAC button near the ACPR lever. It can operate under any position of the selector other than P, but the most efficient is in the range of 1 or 2 in position S. It is desirable not to use the DAC system when descending on slippery surfaces or lifeless.
