Ford's coolant temperature sensor 3 has features. Unlike other cars, it does not show actual temperature, but has several regimes. If the engine is not warming-up, when the engine is warmed up to a lower operating temperature (more than 40 degrees), the arrow moves to the middle. When the engine is heated to 45 to 50 degrees, the arrow points to 90. This algorithm simplifies the driver's life: the car tells when the movement can begin.
