You can replace the motor oil entirely by yourself. To do this, you will need to find a flat site, if there is a jack and a support, or a surface with a elevation that can be put so that the front wheels have more height. The ideal conditions for the replacement of the motor oil can be considered as a lift or a repair pit.

Before starting work, the car needs to be put on the parking brake. In order to be reliable, rear wheels may be placed, for example, bricks. To see which side it is best to lift a car or by which side to go to higher ground, you need to know which side the cork is on the engine.

The engine must be stopped no more than an hour ago, so that it could not be settled, but rather the oil itself, and replaced it with the new engine oil. You will also need the oil capacity of the oil plum (or cut in the upper part of the bottle) and the mat that will be comfortable. The procedure for performing the engine oil replacement is as follows:

  1. Get under the car, find a cork, put a tank in it, and spin the cork, the oil has to flow. It's better to wear gloves, so you don't get burned.
  2. Now we need to unroll the filter. You can do it with your hand, but if you don't, you need to use a tenant.
  3. Next, you need to set up a new oil filter according to its installation instructions. There is often no need to pour motor oil into the filter. You need to clean the filter, grease the sealing ring of the filter and roll it with your hand by three quarters.
  4. After the oil moved out of the engine, it would be necessary to twist the cork of the filler neck. It's important not to overdo it, because it's easy to rip off the engine crankcase.
  5. Now the only thing to do is to put the funnel in the filler neck and fill the oil with the fresh oil. The kanstra needs to be kept a wide area parallel to the ground, so that the oil does not spill.
  6. Check the oil level, it must be between the min and max.
  7. Start the engine, run it at idling speed, and check the leaks. If they're gone, we need to take a ride, stop, shut down the engine, give it a little cold for 10 minutes and check the oil level again. If necessary, the oil must be millet.
