Mercedes-Benz C-class (W204) has been fitted with several forms of transmission: mechanical, robotic and automatic. Most models have the rear, some versions are full. The most problematic aggregate of transmission is the robotic CAT. It has been marked by the failure of the hydraulic pump of the control system. There is no emergency mode, so the car becomes immobilized. Also, the "robot" features include tangible flyover for gearshift. The most reliable is a manual gearbox.
