Some of the machinery of the window-lift mechanism on Volkswagen Golf IV has been made of very fragile plastic. Therefore, in an attempt to open the staining glass in the winter glass fixings break-glass gets scrawled and rekled.
There is a problem with the installation of the parts from the original kit, which includes three, the ballpoint on the motor and the clips (these parts are broken). The parts of the seatbelt of the window-lift, including the clips, are metal. It is not possible to buy metal clips separately.
