There is a small ventilation hatch under the right side of the plating in the trunk. It is mounted on the four latches (two from the top, two from the bottom). About the hatch, most likely, and maybe water pumping.
The reason is a very weak gasket. Instead, it is possible to place a rubber band for the Renault Fluence, which fits in this case.
