To replace the rear registration plate on Honda Civil: Detach six clamps along its perimeter. Then clear the edge of the plate frame from the side-marker lamp on both sides of the rear plate. Note: do not scratch the boot lock. Install the trim panel in the sequence, reverse the reverse. When you install, inspect the clamps for damage from the load and replace them with the new rack ears if you want to secure the tabs.

- Then, cleanly free the edge of the plate frame from the side-marker lamp on both sides of the rear of the license plate. Attention: do not scratch the boot lock.
- Set the finishing panel in the sequence, reverse it.
- If you are installing, you can test the clips for damage from the load and replace them with new loads if necessary.
- Secure the anchors.
