Minivan is a passenger car category. It has a capacity of up to eight persons. If passenger seats are greater than eight, the vehicle is already in the minibus. The hatchback and station wagon have a higher landing and the height of the body itself.  All because the increase in the internal space is important for such vehicles. At the same time, the capacity of the passenger compartment can be made even more by the transformation of passenger seats.

Speaking of seats, usually the minivan has three seats. Access to the third row is carried out through side wide and more sliding doors.

There are several variations of the minivan layout: this is a bonnet (or a wagon), half-captivated, and no-calming. They are made up of the engine location. In the car type of minivan engine is traditionally settled under the hood, in the semi-cunning-moved closer to the passenger compartment, and in the car is in the middle of the car.  By the 1980s, manufacturers had concluded that the latter two were the safest and most convenient. And the rocky build was kept only in the minibus class.
