In some cases, Nissan Tana may see an increase in idling speed when the headlamps or other power consumers are switched on. The reason is that, under light loads for the generator (no power-consuming energy consumers), the engine speed may be slightly lower. If the lamps are activated, the load on the generator shall be increased, which in turn causes an increase in engine speed at idle.

It should be noted that slightly increased idle speed is more favourable for the engine than low, as the pressure in the lubricant system is increasing and the wear of the parts is reduced.
