3 buttons and 1 LED on the side of the side mirror of the Mercedes E-Class (W212)-option with code 231-system of remote opening of garage doors. It can be programmed to control 3 different automatic gates:
1. Turn the ignition key to position 1 or 2.
2. Select the channel that you want to program and click the appropriate button. If this channel is available, the control LED will immediately be lit in yellow. Otherwise, wait 10 seconds.
3. Release the diode button should blink in yellow.
4. Connect the remote control to the mirror at a distance of 5 to 20 cm, press the opening/closing button and hold it until the LED is green. In this case, the program completed successfully.
If it burns red, repeat the entire process by changing the distance from the control block to the mirror. If the diode is green, then the gate receiver is working with variable code, and you need to synchronize it.
1. Locate the programming button on the garage door, and click it.
2. Sit in the car and press the pre-programmed button until the gate closes (usually about 30 seconds).
Note that the system of opening machines for the European and US markets may not work on Russian frequencies.
