The "Scandinavian Light" functions are the automatic activation and deactivation of the dipped-beam headlamps when the engine is started and shut down. If a light control unit with 3 positions is installed in the vehicle, remove the unit.

To do this, you must first unmount the vent grid. The block needs to be opened (4 screws torx), remove the board and look at the torque mechanism: it is prevented by a piece of plastic that needs to be moored in such a way that the handle will move freely into the fourth position and the necessary contact (already available on board) is closing. The fourth position is the Scandinavian light.

In the case of a light control unit with four positions installed on the vehicle, the electronic control unit will need to be repositioned. Some do the trick, gluing the opaque taped area of the glass over the light sensor. In this way the car believes that the street is dark and includes the passing beam.
