In the cold snap of the Chevrolet Cruze, the glass is adjacent to rubber sealers and persistent attempts to lower the glass can cause the mechanism to break the glass anchorage.

If you hear the mechanism working and the glass doesn't go down-it means there's a cliff. It should be remembered that at any moment the glass could fall down, crash and damage the window of the window-lift. Therefore, if you have a cliff, you should gently lower the glass down with your arms, remove the door cladding (it holds two screws, clips, and rails), and put the glass in place (if the anchorage is not broken).
