The malfunction of the immobilizer signals the tell-lamp on the dashboard of the Chevrolet Cruze with a picture of a car and a lock. There are known cases where the immobilizer has been blocked after a long berthing or a discharged battery. The blocked Immobilizer does not allow the car to be started. Sometimes it helps to disconnect the battery for a short period of time.
