The incorrect operation of the rudder position sensor in BMW 5 E60 may be shown, for example, by the fact that the turn signals or the corresponding error indicator on the menu are not activated. Errors in the device may be related to the swimlane (s) at the position of the rudder position sensor. The problem is solved by replacing the SZL switching centre in the steering column.
