First generation BMW battery instructions:
- Starring "10" unfastening the nut plate of the metal appending bar and remove the bar itself from the stiletto.
- Loosin the nut and remove the wire from the battery pack.
- Unlock the latch by removing the thin red wire from the battery casing.
- Next to it, remove the protective cover and head "on 13" unscrew it, remove the wire from the stiletto.
- Lift the cover on the left side of the battery and unscrew the nut clip.
- Use the screwdriver to move the metal plates and push the upper unit away from the battery.
- Remove the top of the plate, looses the nut clip and completely remove the top block.
- Remove the battery.
- Install a new one in reverse sequence. All connections should be checked, because nuts and terminals are often oxidizes and can be inoperable.
