There are no other ways to save your car from being stolen. Set the most advanced alarm, buy all kinds of mechanical blockers ... Another way, which is gaining popularity lately, is the use of anti-theft markings on the glass.
The protective marking is the VIN number (or part thereof) on the vehicle's glazing. In addition, the anti-theft markings are also found on the side mirrors or lamps (the latter is particularly relevant for the Porsche Cayenne, whose headlamps are known to be of special interest to miscreants).

The protective marking of glass, headlamps or mirrors makes the car much less attractive to the hijacker. The fact is that the numbers on the details are impossible to withdraw, and since the VIN number of the hijackers will certainly be broken, glass and mirrors will have to change too, so that the future buyer does not have questions. In addition, no headlights or mirrors are available for sale, as each of them will be marked.
In other words, it would be easier for the hijackers to leave your car alone and to find exactly the same, but without the anti-theft markings and, accordingly, without undue trouble and cost.

If the car with the anti-theft auto-marking has been stolen, the presence of the marking will be an excellent one, which will have to be reported to the police. The car can then be identified and returned to the owner.
Some insurance companies even have a discount on CASCO for cars whose details have been marked with anti-theft markings.
Anti-theft on glass is carried in one of two ways:
- a sandstone,
- Acid pasta.
You can make the entire VIN number or the last 6 digits.
However, be aware that anti-theft markings are only capable of deterring hijackers who are intent on reselling your entire car or for spare parts. The hooligans, who steal the car "just go for a ride," unintelligable numbers on glass or mirrors are unlikely to stop.
