The rear view camera is installed in place of one of the rear-plate illuminating lamps. To do this, it is necessary to remove the decorative bar on the back doors (access to the nuts can be obtained by lifting the door cladding), removing one lantern, and installing the camera.
Next, you need to make an electrical connection:
- The cells shall be connected directly to the terminals of the reversing lamp (located in the rear-door lamp), but the holding of the camera is better with the help of the cell to connect to one of the mass at the door;
- The video cable from the camera reaches out to the magnetolol (the cable usually goes with the camera, has standard RCA connectors).
In this connection, the camera will only work when the vehicle is moving in reverse.
