If there is insufficient space above the door of the Mercedes E-Class (W211) luggage compartment (in the case of storing a car in a low ceiling, for example), you can limit the angle of opening of the luggage compartment.
This function is included as follows:
-To open the luggage compartment door, pull the handle.
-To interrupt the process by pulling the handle again.
-Translate the baggage compartment door to the desired position.
-Press and hold the door in the luggage compartment until a short signal is available.
The door of the luggage compartment will now be opened to the specified position. If the sound was not followed, the position was not entered in memory. Open the door of the luggage compartment, press the closing button again and hold it down until the beep follows. This function is activated by pressing the luggage compartment button until 2 short beeps are followed.
