The problem with the constantly burning reversing lamps on the Hyundai Tuccas was a problem due to the failure of the rear door sensor installed on the gearshift box. It can break down:

-Lamp in the open position-lamps are on fire all the time. Similar symptoms are apparent when wiring is rare, which is rare.

-In a closed position-if the rear gear is switched on, the lamp will not be caught. In the first place, check the lamps themselves and the corresponding fuse in the unit.

The original tail number is 93860-39003 (the location can be viewed in the diagram).

The replacement must be done before the gear is turned on. To replace:

1. Dismantling the air filter body is not a mandatory measure, but it makes it easier to access the sensor that is underneath it.

2. Disconnect the cell of the sensor by unfasting the clamps.

3. To get the elongated head on 24 (the normal head of the kit is not suitable) and to spin the sensor.

4. To rotate the new sensor by hand and to trust the key until it has the same position as the old one.

5. Reverse all order.

To verify that the new sensor is working, connect the connector to the new sensor. The lamps of the reversing lamp shall be caught, and when the sensor's current is pressed, the lamp shall be extinguishing.
