The parktronic sensors on Honda Akcord 8 operate as follows:
(1) Side sensor:
-At a distance of 45 to 60 cm the left or right indicator is continuously lit and a sound signal is given (high frequency).
-At 35 to 45 cm the left or right indicator is continuously lit and a sound signal (with an increased frequency) is given.
-At a distance of less than 35 cm, a left or right indicator is continuously lit and a constant sound signal is given.
(2) Front and rear sensors:
-At a distance of 60-100 cm (for the front) and 60-110 (for rear), the front/rear light is continuously on and the sound signal (normal frequency) is sounded.
-At a distance of 45 to 60 cm the front/back indicator is continuously on and the sound signal (with a high frequency) is given.
-At 35 to 45 cm continuously, the front/rear light is on and an audible signal is sounded (at a high frequency).
-At a distance of less than 35 cm, the front/back indicator is continuously lit and a constant sound signal is given.
