The first thing you need to do is dismantle the trunk lining. A flat-blade screwdriver is required to remove the plating. The plating is held on the clips that need to be neatly raised and caught, as they can fly away and get lost. The Lanterns in the Chevrolet Cruze are pinned on two screws each. A Phillips screwdriver will be required to dismantle them.
Each lamp unit located on the trunk lid shall have two red and yellow wires. The red wire of the left headlamp shall be connected to the red wire of the right lamp. The same operation should be done with yellow wires. The yellow wires need to be connected to the white wire of the standard connector. The red wire must be connected to the red wire of the standard connector.
Unless described above with wires, the front fog lamps will not function in the position lamps and the lamp will not look similar to the Mercedes E-Class lantern.
