The gasoline engine in Prius can be activated. To do this, press the pedal of the gas when the ACPR selector is in the "P" position (the engine will be run if the battery is a little planted).
It is also possible to switch the ACPR to the "D" position and to press the gas holding the brake pedal in the pressed state.
If you want the gasoline engine to work for a long time, you should:
- Turn the ignition on, but do not start the car (click the button without holding the brake pedal).
- Push the gas pedal twice. Press the brake and place the CAT in "N" mode.
- Push the gas pedal twice.
- Press brake and switch PPC selector to "P" mode.
- Push the gas pedal twice.
- Press the brake and press the vehicle start-up button.
