There can be many reasons for the smell in the cabin, but in the construction of Chevrolet Niva, one feature was found to indicate the presence of a weak spot in the fuel line. In the Chevy Niva body, there are technological openings in the interface between the bottom and the engine board, through which the fuel line has been pulled out to fire the longerons. The tubes are closed by a protective cover, which is used by all sorts of garbage of organic origin (grass, leaves and tp). As a result, the tubes are actively corroded. When searching for a source of gasoline smell, it is strongly recommended that you start from this location.
