The disabled passenger airbag shall be disabled, for example, in order to install a children's seat against the direction of travel. Two types of airbags of the front passenger are installed on the Volkswagen 2:
-Type 1 disables only the service station.
-Type 2-disabled manually with the controller AIRBAGON/OFF behind the glove compartment.
To turn off the pillow in the second case, you need to:
-Turn off the ignition and open the glove compartment.
-To remove the emergency key from the keychain and use it to switch the airbag switch to the OFF position.
-The cushion is off. With the ignition on, the PASSENGER AIRE BAG OFF lamp shall be lit continuously.
