The automatic box of Mercedes-Benz C-class (W204) in the AMG package has RS operating mode. It shall ensure maximum acceleration at the beginning of the movement. To activate the mode, you must do the following:
- Press the brake on the brake and switch the switch clockwise until an RS indication is displayed.
- The message "RACE START START Acknowledge: UP Cancel Checkbox: The DOWN check box" is displayed.
- To confirm the power on the right hand petal petal. The screen should show that the RS function is available.
- Within 5 seconds of this, you must press the gas pedal or the RS mode will be interrupted.
- Keep the pedal of the gas to the point-the speed of the revolution is increased to about 3,500 rpm.
- The inscription "RACE START: Release brake" appears. If the brake does not release within 5 seconds, the function stops.
- Remove the foot from the brake while holding the accelerator pedal.
- The advance will be moved with the maximum acceleration.
- After 50 km/h is reached, the RS mode will automatically turn off and the box will work in S + mode.
