The system of the Mercedes S-Class (W221) has an independent heating function, which is triggered by a timer. To configure your system, do the following:
- In the command line of the Commands system, select the air conditioning menu. Compress OK
- In the list box, find the function "Independent heating: departure time". Press OK.
- Select one of the three options "Set the time" and click OK.
- With the rotation and movement of the regulator, we set the right time to be warmed up. Press OK to enter time into memory. You can enter three different values in memory and select one in the future. The system works only once-the next day is not retried, and it is necessary to re-enable the timer every time.
- The system will determine when the heater is switched on at the ambient temperature. If the vehicle is not installed by the time it is installed, the autonomous heating function will run for 5 minutes and then automatically switch off.
