To reset the service indication on the Mercedes-Benz C class (W204) with a 12-button rudder, do the following:
- We're closing all the doors, the trunk and the bonnet.
- Turn the ignition key to position 1. The odometer should be displayed on the screen. If it does not, press the S110s3 button several times until the Reise menu appears.
- For 5 seconds after the display of the menu, press and hold the button Rise S111s3, and then press and hold the button OK (S110s6).
- Hold the buttons for approximately 5 seconds until a menu with Fahrzeugden, Rollentest, and ASSYST PLUS is displayed.
- Use the forward button (S110s1) to select ASSYST PLUS and click OK.
- In the "Forward" menu, choose Gesamtservice and click OK.
- The "forward" button selects the Serv. Bestätigen and click OK.
- Select the motor oil specification and click OK. To get the maximum interservice interval of 25,000. You must select sheet 229.5.
- We pick a line that says Ja and click OK.
- Select Bestätigung and click OK.
- Press the "back" button several times until the meter is displayed.
