The salon filter allows for large and small debris to be kept, flying into the air inlet of the ventilation and heating system of the passenger compartment. The level of filtering depends on the type of particulate filter set.
There are two main types of filter columns:
1. Paper filter
2. Coil spun filter
The coal filter is considered to be capable of detaining smaller particles.
The salon filter is far from all cars. But even among machines that do not have a salon filter, many of them have a niche for its installation.
On different cars, the salon filters are installed in different locations, but the most common installation locations are:
1. Under a plastic panel located in the lower part of the frontal end (toad). As a rule, this panel is held on clips or smores and consists of several parts. One part (more often on the passenger side) is a salon filter.
2. A box located opposite the front passenger. As a rule, to get to the salon filter, it is necessary to release the glove box from the content, detach at the top and tip over. It shall be followed by a correlative with a salon filter.
In both cases, it is important to correct the filter in a niche. The direction of the air flow is usually indicated by the arrows on the filter or the box. The filtered spup filter can reduce the efficiency of the air conditioning system.
