The first thing to do is remove the fuse #12 from the subassembly unit so that the gas pump is switched off. After that, the car must be started and waited until it snagts. This will prevent the flow of gasoline when the filter is replaced.
Then, do the following:
- Detach the two latches from the fuel tubes and release the handle that holds the filter.
- Wait for a small amount of fuel
- Reinstall the new filter and attach the connections to the new filter.
