To get to and remove the Caliber gas pump, the following steps need to be taken:
1. Remove the two screws below the asterisk (TORX) and remove the rear seat.
2. Disassemble the protective cover.
3. Disconnect the connector
4. The pump itself needs to be cleared of dust. The original pumps are actually produced by Denso.
5. It is now necessary to detach the tube and remove the disc that holds the pump. In places marked with circles, you need to reposition the screwdriver and mix the arrows until the disk is free.
6. The pump can now be removed.
7. It is now necessary to disconnect the two connectors. One approach to the engine, and one to the level sensor.
8. The spring puck shall be removed from the spring.
