A lot of cars are hitting their drivers and passengers. It would seem like a little hollow, but it's not pleasant. To understand how to deal with static electricity from a car, you have to start to understand why the machine is electrocuating.

The reason why the car is striking is three:

  • the driver or the passenger is three clothing of the seat, so the static charge is stored in the person,
  • the charge is caused by the friction between the body of the car and the air, accumulates on the car (most of it is in the dry and hot weather and also in the dusty roads),
  • charge due to malfunctioning of the engine electrical equipment (e.g. high voltage wires or spark plugs).

In the first two cases, the current most often hits the door when trying to close it by getting out of the car. In the latter case, the current is beating from the hood.

What to do if the car is electrocuate

Depending on the cause of electrostatic electricity, it is necessary to fight it differently.

Seats and clothes can be treated with antistatic-then the probability of getting the discharge from the car will be much smaller.

You can hang the anti-static strip (tape) that is sold in any auto shop. However, it does not decorate the appearance of the car, and it does not always have the effect of using it.

To keep the car out of the car, you should be more careful: before you put your foot on the ground, you have to take a hand for the metal part of the door. In addition, the door may not be pushed by the hand, but by the elbow or knee, that is, a part of the body that is covered by cloth of clothing.
