To program an additional key to Generation 6 Mazda, you must do the following:
- Insert a regular key into the ignition locking system and turn it into the ON position and wait for the light bulb (image of a car with a key) to go out.
- For 5 seconds, do the same with the normal key.
- For 5 seconds seconds, you need to take the new key and turn it on to the ON position. If the lamp of the immobilizer is extinguised, then the key is programmed, if not, then the operation must be repeated in three to five minutes.
