The problem of the wear of the gear rack on the Jeep Grand Cheroki WK is usually shown as knocking on roughness. There are three ways to resolve the problem:

(1) Replacement of the gear rack.

(2) Replacerest spring replaced. To do this, you need to purchase the old disc clutch 2108, disassemble it and remove one of the six disc-springs. Then remove the protection, unwind the steering gear, and unwind the adjustment nut. Then I put in a closet and a spring. It should be remembered that too hard a spring would lead to the rudder and premature wear of the foil.

(3) Replacement of the rake plate. Scrub it up the same way as in 2, but I'm not changing the spring. Inventing new plates and placing them at point-blank point. Soil all the litol and put it back together.
