The automatic transmission lever at the Chevrolet Cobalt may be locked in position P on a temporary power-off. The key may also be locked in the ignition.
To unlock, you should check the pins of the ASB as well as its status and charge when necessary. If the problem is not related to the battery, you must manually unlock the ACPR lever and extract the key. This includes the handbrake, open the lid to the right of the lever, and insert the screwdriver into the hole. Then move the lever to the N position and close the cover.
