Why are two wheels under the Renault Fluence's left air duct?

These wheels control the sensitivity of the impact sensor. The first (digit 1) regulates the sensitivity of the warning zone; the second (number 2) regulates the sensitivity of the alarm zone. If you turn the governors in the Renault Fluence saloon clockwise, the sensitivity will decrease if the sentry increases.
