This is usually the case in the spring of X-Trail 2. The reason is the formation of the condensate and ice between the metal roof and its plating. More often than not, water flows through the windshield in the area of the front racks. The only solution is to install a rooftop noise insulation. The noise-proofing material will not leave room for condensation and ice.
