To activate the self-diagnosis mode, you must switch the ignition switch to the "ON" position. Then press the "OFF" and "FOOTWELL" buttons at the same time and hold them for a couple of seconds and then press the AUTO button and hold them. The climate control display will display error codes: the left display is the first two digits of the error code, and the second digit is the second digit. You must press any key to exit the test mode. When the "DEFROST" key is pressed, the activated test mode removes all errors from the climate control.
