BMW 5 E60's zero reading is carried out by means of a simple procedure. When the car doors are closed, you need to turn on the ignition, but don't start the engine. Next, click on the daily mileage button and hold it until the pad, oil, and candlelight is on the dash (just above the odometer reading).
Then, use the same button to select a particular item, such as a candle or a macro filter, for which you want to reset the statement. A short click on a button is a jump to the next selection, and the long button is reset to zero when you reach the desired element. candlelight, macrofilter and oil are reset without any problems, but only with brake pads.
