There are several ways to lift the manual brake. The first one is not required to be parsed. The brake pedal force (on a standing vehicle) must be strongly pressed and the lever arm omitted several times.

If this is not the case, you will need a lift or a pit. There are rubber pluds behind the brake pads, followed by a wheel with teeth. Wheel needs a 1-2-click test.

In general, the hand brake requires a lift if the lever makes more than 8 clicks.
