A Mercedes Benz Bentz (W204) is automatically activated when the vehicle is launched and operates at speeds up to 18 km/h. Parking sensors are located in the front and rear bumper and allow the detection of outsiders at the following distances:
- The front sensors (centre) are approximately 20 to 100 cm.
- Front sensors (side)-approximately 15 to 60 cm.
- The back sensors (center) are approximately 20 to 120 cm.
- Rear transducers (side)-approximately 15-80 cm
Sensors may not react to too low or too high obstacles.
