In order to replace the rear door lock on the Honda Civil 8: Unlock the door panel and the plastic cover. Release the lock by unlocking the four screws at the lock. Next, remove the lock on the outer handle. Next, carefully disconnect the lock cable and the cable of the inner handle from the holder and remove the lock between the back bottom of the door and the back door. Attention: When this operation is performed, there is a risk of bend the knob of the outer handle, the cable of the lock, or the cable of the inner handle. Be careful!Next, remove the lock on the lock and remove the fastening hook, disconnect the lock cord and cable the internal handle from the lock.
- All the way to the door glass.
- Unmount the door panel and plastic cover.
- Lower the lock by unlocking the four retaining screws.

- Disconnect the cable of the lock and the inner handle from the lock.
