To replace the carcant and sealant on the Honda Civil 8: Open the hood and lift the seven anchors of the insulator and its corners. Remove the bonnet seal. Then unhook the two anchors from the bottom and remove the insulator without damaging the bonnet coating.
- Open the hood and lift the seven anchors of the insulator and seven lock holders and its corners.
- Remove the bonnet seal.
- Then detach the two fastenings of the insulator from the bottom and remove the insulator without damaging the bonnet coating.
- Perform the installation of the new insulator and sealant in the reverse order.
- Replace the retainers for damage and, if necessary, replace them.
