The Mercedes S (W221) has two accumulator batteries, one basic battery and one of the other starter batteries.
Old LAB removal order:
- Disconnect the cable (4) from the battery.
- Remove the retaining bracket (1).
- Detach the plush wire (3) from the battery.
- Disconnect the ventilation hose (2) and remove the CCM.
The procedure for the withdrawal of the main ASB is:
- Disconnect the minutes from the old battery.
- We're taking off the central panel of the trunk.
- Remove the rack cabinet (3).
- Take off the bracket (4) and slightly move the battery.
- Disconnect minutes (1) from the main battery.
- Detach the plush wire (2) from the battery.
- Disconnect the ventilation hose and remove the CCM.
