The control panel of the Mercedes E-Class (W211) is a oval block with two light-flaps, separated by a button to open or close the lift-sliding top hatch (if any). Also there are buttons for switching on/off lighting in the front and rear of the passenger compartment, including/off automatic control of car interior illumination.
You can use the button located in the center of the console to open or close the sliding roof panel. The lights can operate in several modes: reading mode, comfort of light and main mode.
For some picking the manufacturer provides a space for mounting the shutter button of the remote opening of the garage door and the button to activate or deactivate the protection device from the towing device.
